October 24, 2012 ROSWELL, Ga. – Roswell's Historic Town Square was alive with flavor as the annual Taste of Roswell brought the community together once again Saturday, Oct. 20.
Dotty Etris, one of the organizers, said this was a great way for local restaurants to introduce new patrons to their food.
One of those working the crowd was Monica Bolsoni, of Plum Cafe.
Bolsoni said her cafe has only been open for six months, and the Taste of Roswell was a great way for her to introduce samples of her food to a lot of hungry people.
STAR House, a nonprofit, was also at the event raising money for their educational programs.
Organizers said they were pleased with the large turnout. Families were also treated to face paintings, dancing, a hula hoop contest and music by deejay Greg Talmadge.
