FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and Target sponsored National Night Out 2012 at the Brookwood Marketplace Target Shopping Center on Peachtree Parkway on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
About 500 people attended America's Night Out Against Crime, a program to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
The national program's participants included several units of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, as well as the Forsyth County Fire Department. Target provided food, drinks and games for the attendees.
The event was organized by the Community Relations Unit of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
