July 11, 2012 ALPHARETTA, Ga. — The 6U Eagles were 5-0 and won the War in the Woods tournament that was held June 23rd-24th.The Eagle's defense was incredible giving up only 8 runs across both pool play games on Saturday, but the bats were the big difference for the Alpharetta Eagles during this tournament. The entire team was hitting the ball hard and the Eagles tallied seven over the fence home runs throughout the course of the weekend including four in the Championship game. View images.
