Being thankful by counting blessings
click for larger version
November 20, 2012
I've always heard people say, "count your blessings."
But the other day it really hit me.

Sometimes I don't feel so lucky or have a strong sense of gratitude, love or appreciation. I feel I don't have enough or I'm not able to recognize the beauty in life.

As the Thanksgiving Day Holiday is being celebrated in the U.S. on Nov. 22 this year, I want to remember to be aware of the day's meaning.
I want to audit the things big and small that make my life good.
I will celebrate the things that bring joy, happiness, satisfaction, optimism and other positive emotions into my life.
And I will be thankful.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
