This will be my last week of the Bike to Work Challenge. For any of you who don't know, the Bike to Work Challenge is a Georgia-wide event that encourages people to ride their bikes to work in October. It's part of a bigger initiative the Clean Air Campaign. I took part in the challenge with the support of Alpha Bikes. It's been a pretty amazing experience.
But it's definitely getting colder in the mornings. I'm leaving with a nice, cozy sweater and gloves! It's the worst when it's drizzling a little bit. I left the other morning when it was damp and it was so depressing. But I did manage not to fall in the wet grass this time!
I'm not sure that I'll keep up with the biking to work at the end of the month. I'm not a big fan of waking up earlier. But I may just keep up with the biking. I've learned several of my friends bike, and now that I've gotten used to it again, I'll be able to go out with them.
I really appreciate everyone's support. And I'm indebted to Alpha Bikes for all the help and advice they've given me over the last month. Whatever path I decide to take with my biking, they'll definitely be my go-to counselors.
