CUMMING, Ga. — Wells Fargo Home Mortgage celebrated the grand opening of its new office, 106 West Maple Street, on Saturday, June 1. Bank officials say the new branch brings jobs and potential investments for the community.
The office currently employs 10 and Branch Manager Adam Rodes says he plans to double the staff by the end of this year.
"We are very optimistic about Forsyth County and we are showing that in the most tangible way possible," Rodes said. "This is the best possible way to kick off National Homeownership Month."
At the grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony were Forsyth County Commission Chairman Pete Amos and City of Cumming Councilman Rupert Sexton.
Before remodeling the 2,500-square-foot office, Wells Fargo owned the property for some time.
"We are so pleased to be part of Cumming and look forward to growing as we serve more customers in Forsyth and surrounding areas," Rodes said.
