January 27, 2013 JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — The Summit Counseling Center in Johns Creek announced the addition of Shawn Murphy as director of community relations and development.
Murphy brings 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience to Summit, including marketing, development and relationship building skills.
Murphy is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a master's degree in Biblical studies and a minor in communications. He and his wife Cathy have five grown children and live in Roswell.
The Summit Counseling Center is a family resource for individual, couples and family counseling. With a staff of 12 licensed therapists, they serve people of all ages and provide a wide range of specialty services including help for those who want to grow individually, couples who want to improve their relationship and for parents, teens and children.
