CUMMING, Ga.— Fitzgerald PR Inc., a boutique public relations firm earned its third Phoenix Award on Nov. 8 at the Public Relations Society of America/Georgia's annual competition designed to recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in the public relations profession in Ga.
Fitzgerald PR, won its 2012 Phoenix award for its media relations efforts for the "Five Blocks Away" movie project.
Debbie Fitzgerald, president of Fitzgerald PR, teamed up with two other public relations counselors — Judith Fouts and Beverly Rhodes, both of Acworth — to gain recognition of the project within the Catholic and Atlanta media. The project was part of an overall public relations campaign that included reaching out to stakeholders, attending screenplay feedback meetings, setting up booths at key events, implementing social media campaigns and more.
Fitzgerald PR Inc. was founded 10 years ago after the husband and wife team moved from Los Angeles.
