December 04, 2012CUMMING, Ga. — The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce announced that Biodiesel King, a British chemical equipment supplier, selected Cumming as the home of its U.S. headquarters and distribution center.
The company specializes in supplying chemicals, fuels, additives, equipment and accessories to the biodiesel industry. Collection of waste cooking oil from restaurants, hotels and other sources is a primary service offered by Biodiesel King, as well as an incentive of paying up to one dollar per gallon to the area suppliers.
"I selected Forsyth due to its good school system, transport network and growing businesses in the area, along with the nearby food and oil companies," said Ian Dawson, managing member.
Cumming Mayor H. Ford Gravitt said he is pleased to have Biodiesel King join the community.
"We are delighted to have industries come in and provide employment opportunities and are excited to see small businesses come and establish themselves in Cumming," Gravitt said.
