CUMMING, Ga. — Cumming Home Ministries, a local charity that provides transitional housing for homeless men in Forsyth County, held a grand opening of its new thrift store Saturday, Nov. 17.
The CHM Thrift Store is located at 433 Canton Road, Suite 213, in Cumming, across from Ingles Supermarket.
"There is a great need for transitional housing for men in our community who find themselves without a roof over their head for various reasons," said Rev. Case Koolhaas, senior pastor at NewSong Community Church, which spawned Cumming Home Ministries as a separate nonprofit organization about two years ago.
