NORTH FULTON, Ga. — Appen Newspapers welcomed two new sales associates to its team last week.
Roswell native Jade Rodgers joined Appen Newspapers after working in the banking industry. "I'm so happy to be back in my home territory," she said.
Rodgers is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in English, and is very excited about joining the newspaper's team.
"I've always aspired to work for a newspaper and look forward to helping Appen Newspapers flourish," she said.
Most recently from Savannah, Sara O'Conner brings a variety of experience to Appen. A University of Georgia graduate with a degree in furnishings and interiors, she spent time in Savannah working in the home improvement industry.
O'Conner also knows what it's like to be a business owner.
Before moving to Forsyth County, she and her husband owned and operated a recycling company.
O'Conner said she is looking forward to adding sales to her repertoire.
"I'm very glad to be back in north Atlanta, and I'm enjoying my new sales career with Appen," she said.
"Jade and Sara hit the ground running this week at the Johns Creek Business Expo," Sales Manager Lynn Danson said. "We are looking forward to what they will bring to our sales team."
