Tea Party Rally held on Tax Day
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — On April 15, about three dozen people, many belonging to the Forsyth County Tea Party held a protest at the Forsyth County Courthouse in downtown Cumming. Speakers included Rep. Geoff Duncan, Congressman Paul Broun and Jennifer Deaton and touched on issues such as Fair Tax, overspending by government and the need for economic growth and jobs. Many in attendance held handmade signs that read: “Cut Taxes Not Deals,” “More Taxes = Less Jobs” and “Born Free Taxed 2 Death.”
