An open letter to Georgia republicans and Chambliss supporters

During the recent election President Elect Obama received 365 electoral votes, won the popular vote, the house and senate both became firmer majority democrat ruled. For anyone who is familiar with how the Senate works, you will realize how important for the State of Georgia it will be for our state to have a voice in the majority party. Currently our state has no voice in the Senate majority party and this makes our state very vulnerable to losing any voice for submitting legislation and consideration for continued or future Federal programs/funding, and military base closures.
In the December 2 run off election, please ask yourself if Senator Chambliss is valuable enough to risk Georgia becoming a neglected or forgotten state in all Federal government business. Has he proven himself to be such an asset to the state as our senator that he can persuade the majority party to value the opinion and assets of Georgia at the Federal level, or is he so important in the Republican party that his continued service as our senator has value over our state being a participant in the legislative agenda of the next four years?
I understand that as a Republican you have a vested interest in holding onto as many Senate seats as possible, and many of you could never consider voting against party lines even if the best interests of our state and our nation were served best by such a vote. For those of you who feel this way I'm simply asking that you not vote in the run off .
For those of you who feel that having Georgia join the momentum of change that the rest of the nation is engaged in, and feel that Georgia should have a voice in that change with representation in the majority party who will decide and implement that change; for those of you who feel that it is vital that the interests and opportunities that Georgia provides for that change be expressed and considered by the Federal government over the next four years, I ask you to consider casting your vote for Jim Martin.

Hang-tough...We can expect a minimum of 16 wonderful years of Democrat rule. Fortunately by then the Republican Party will be long forgotten. This country is about to embark on no less than two decades of prosperity and good things.

I have rarely posted any comments on this or any other blogs but feel that it is finally necessary to alert America to its' new calling. We can finally put the old rhetoric behind us. The blame game and the fingter pointing. It is like buying a new suit of clothes. The old duds need to either be given to a consignment shop or thrown away. I prefer the latter. We know the world that we do not wish to return to and have seen it first hand and all of the hurt and punishment our citizens have endured. Let's look ahead now to a wonderful new beginning. Either pack the old clothes away or bury them in your back yard, or better yet, just burn them. Those old suits just don't fit America anymore.

Why would you vote for a worn out old man? He is George Bush all over again. A war hero somewhat. But not electable as president. His air quotes, pounding of his fist on the podium, his baseless claims on ending the way with honor was all pure BS. Palin was and still is a disaster. You need to get over it yourself. Mccain was a hopeless nothing.
