The opinion of City Council does not represent that of this citizen in Alpharetta. I appreciate the park and those who travel to participate in the events held there & who stay and spend their money in the area. I would hate to see it closed for ball fields.
I appreciate that we have something in the area that is different and special than that of the average park. And as our city council continues to let the density of the rural setting on the West side of Alpharetta become tighter and tighter this park will become even more unique.
I do hope that city council allows more the 400 people weigh in on the future of this center. I agree with those who think a little transparency on the money management is due and that a task force should be formed to see how this park can be made profitable while retaining the equestrian center.
