Piedmont Chapter Sons of the American Revolution

Meeting location change for the Piedmont Chapter Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). The Piedmont Chapter meets monthly on the third Saturday at 8 a.m. for breakfast at the Holiday Inn Hotel. Men and boys interested in documenting their relationship to their American Revolutionary ancestors and in joining an active group with similar interest are encouraged to contact the chapter registrar, Bob Sapp. The SAR are engaged in a variety of programs to promote the patriotic, educational and historical interests resulting from the American Revolution, including essay contests for high school students and Eagle Scouts, presentation of medals to college and high school ROTC students, poster contests for elementary students, Revolutionary War grave dedications, volunteer work with veterans, presentation of flag certificates, participation in historic battle sites observances and others. The Piedmont Chapter serves the northern suburbs of Atlanta, including Cobb, Forsyth, Cherokee and North Fulton counties.

A non-denominational support group for compulsive eaters. No dues or fees for membership. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop eating compulsively. The OA program of recovery is patterned after that of AA using their 12 Steps and 12 Traditions modified for Compulsive Eaters. Compulsive overeaters, anorexics and bulimics welcome.
